Lead Yourself First, Choose What’s True, and Make It All Make Sense Again

I’m Wanda Re’Ginae
Writer, Truth-teller, and Chief Selful Officer.
I’m also a line-dancing, novel-loving, travel queen who finds joy in movement, whether that’s an Orangetheory workout, a yoga mat, or a flight to somewhere beautiful.
After years of doing what was expected, I’m finally in a place where I get to do things my way.
Great for me, but too many women are not there yet.
I continue to meet smart, capable, high-achieving women who juggle careers, families, and expectations, holding it all together on the outside, but stretched thin on the inside.
We have long and deep conversations.
And I see parts of myself in each of them.
For years, I checked all the boxes: career, leadership, family, success.
From the outside, it looked like I was winning.
But on the inside? I was questioning myself and quietly asking, “Is this really it?”
That disconnect between doing well and feeling excited about it
is what brought me here.
Herbossiness started as an expression of what I was thinking and feeling —
a place to say the things I didn’t hear anyone else saying, and to name the weight so many of us carry in silence.
Now, it’s grown into a space for women who are tired of being on the back burner
and are ready to pivot, reset, and show up for themselves.
This isn’t about chasing more.
It’s about choosing better and moving differently.
So if you’ve ever asked yourself, “How did I get so far from me?”
You’re not alone. And you’re not too late.
Herbossiness is your permission slip to start where you are.
It’s not just content. It’s the pause you’ve needed to finally put yourself first.
